Still a Student, Yet Becoming
They say leadership begins when you take ownership before you're ready. For me, that moment didn’t arrive with a job title — it began with a desire to create something that didn’t exist yet.
I’m still a student — 17 years old — but every morning I wake up not just to attend classes, but to build, lead, and learn beyond the syllabus. Not because someone asked me to. But because I chose to.
My journey didn’t begin in a boardroom or with business plans. It began with curiosity, community, and the courage to raise my hand and say:
"What if we do it differently?"
That question took me places I hadn’t imagined.
From becoming the CEO of Community Engagement and Social Entrepreneurship, to being the Co-Convenor of the Entrepreneurship-Cell where we turn entrepreneurial sparks into movements, to leading as the Head of Marketing & PR at UniteX — a vibrant community of 600+ student innovators — my learning has come from doing, failing, adapting, and doing again.
No, I didn’t always have the answers.
But I asked the questions that mattered:
• How do we create student-led ecosystems that function like real-world teams?
• How can content be more than just scroll-stopping — how can it move people to action?
Through late-night brainstorms, self-taught strategies, and countless iterations, I’ve witnessed the impact of execution rooted in empathy. Our UniteX Community grew organically by 600+ members in just 3 days — not for vanity, but because the message resonated.
The titles I carry are not medals — they’re missions. I don’t just juggle roles — I shape them around values that matter: authenticity, purpose, and people-first leadership.
Now, I’m building Luxize, a plus-size footwear startup for people often overlooked by the mainstream. It's more than a product — it's a promise that everyone deserves to walk their path in comfort and confidence.
I’m learning the rhythm of content, the flow of design, and the foundations of startup building — all while sitting in classrooms, editing at night, or walking after dinner reflecting on what’s next.
I believe leadership isn’t about age. It’s about alignment with purpose.
And purpose? That comes early, if you’re willing to listen.
So yes, I’m still a student. But I’m also:
• A creator of value
• A builder of platforms
• A dreamer grounded in execution
And I know — this is just the beginning.
