From Passion to Print – The Growth Story of Mod Print Design
My name is Sanjay Singhal, and I am the founder of Mod Print Design—a venture that grew out of a deep interest in educational content, design, and the impact of good publishing. Our journey began with a simple idea: to make learning more engaging and accessible through well-designed and thoughtfully curated educational books.

The Beginning:
With a background in English Literature and a passion for writing, editing, and content development, I began my professional journey in content creation and scriptwriting. But it wasn’t long before I realized a stronger calling—creating something tangible that combined creativity, education, and utility. That’s when Mod Print Design was born.
We started small—just a few school books for lower classes—but we poured our heart into every page. Every design, every illustration, and every line of content was meant to make learning more enjoyable and effective for students.
What We Do:
Today, Mod Print Design creates term books, semester books, and textbooks for classes Pre-Nursery to 8th grade, covering all major subjects. We also offer customized design services for schools and businesses, helping them build unique learning materials and brand visuals. Our team works closely with educators to ensure content is curriculum-aligned and visually compelling.
Growth and Impact:
What sets us apart is our blend of creativity and academic rigor. We understand the balance between engaging design and educational value. Over the years, our books have reached numerous schools and students across regions, and our design services have helped many institutions upgrade their visual communication.
We’ve grown organically—driven by word of mouth, repeat clients, and the strong relationships we build with every school and client we serve.
Challenges and Vision:
The education sector is constantly evolving, and so are student needs. Adapting to digital formats, customizing content, and maintaining consistent quality are challenges we face daily—but ones we welcome. Our long-term vision is to expand our offerings digitally while continuing to deliver print solutions that matter.
Message to Future Entrepreneurs:
Start small, stay consistent, and never compromise on quality. It’s not just about what you create but the value it brings to someone else’s learning journey.
I’m grateful to share this story and hope it inspires others building in the space of education, design, or entrepreneurship.
“A book is more than content—it’s an experience. And we make sure that experience is beautiful, useful, and lasting.” – Sanjay Singhal, Founder
How It Started:
With a background in English Literature and a passion for writing, editing, and storytelling, I started my career in content creation and scriptwriting. But the idea of building something long-term—a business that blends content, design, and education—stayed with me. That seed grew into Mod Print Design.
We began with just a few early learning books. Every page was crafted with care—from content structure to illustrations. What we lacked in scale, we made up for in creativity and attention to detail.
