Rupali Gupta Joins Dunnhumby as Global Director of Platform Engineering

Rupali Gupta has been appointed as the Global Director of Platform Engineering at Dunnhumby. With over 20 years of experience, she has a strong background in API strategy and governance, distributed architecture, platform engineering, cloud, microservices, digital platforms, and modern engineering practices.

Prior to this, she led Capability Architecture at Fidelity International, for payments and customer capabilities, leading API strategy and governance while spearheading large-scale digital transformations and scalable platform architectures. Throughout her career, she has focused on aligning technology with business goals, enhancing customer centricity, cost efficiency, and accelerating time-to-market.

In her new role, she will lead API strategy and governance, cloud transformation, microfrontends, digital platforms, and GenAI integration to enhance Dunnhumby’s application platforms and GenAI capabilities. A strong advocate for automation, modern engineering practices, internal developer platforms, reusability, and inner source adoption, she aims to create a scalable, efficient, and developer-friendly technology foundation. Passionate about exploring new technologies and building high-performing teams, she brings a strategic vision for future-ready platform engineering.
