Playing games to becoming the founder of two startups

My name is Rishi Raj, and I’m from Dumka, Jharkhand. I want to share my personal journey — how I went from being a kid who just loved playing games to becoming the founder of two startups: StromWebs and Siptkai.

How It All Started...

Everything began when I was in Class 5. My family supported me a lot and bought me a PC — that was the first big turning point in my life. But to be honest, at that time, I had no idea what to do with it.

Like every other kid, I just played games for fun.

But then one day, I watched a movie related to hacking (I don’t remember the name), and it completely changed the way I thought about technology. I was like — “Bro, what is this guy doing? This is crazy!”

That’s when I decided: I want to learn this stuff.

First Step – Learning Everything I Could

In Class 6, I joined my first computer course — ADCA. After that, I did 2-3 more courses, and slowly started learning HTML, CSS, and web development.

The more I learned, the more I got interested. And then one day, I told myself — “Let’s build something of my own.”

StromWebs – My First Startup

On 4th December 2024, I officially launched StromWebs. The idea was simple — help startups and small businesses build their online presence.

A lot of people have great business ideas, but no proper website or digital identity. That’s where StromWebs comes in — we build websites, manage SEO, and help brands go online in a clean, professional way.

Till now, I’ve helped multiple startups launch their first websites and start their digital journey — and that means everything to me.

Siptkai – Dreaming Bigger with AI

On 11th May 2025, I launched my second startup: Siptkai.

Siptkai is all about AI-powered solutions that help startups and companies work smarter — from automation to analytics to decision-making.

“The vision is to make AI simple, accessible, and useful for startups all over the world.”

Right now, I’m working on building real tools that can solve real business problems using AI. I want Siptkai to be the go-to tech partner for future startups.

The Challenges – And How I Kept Going

The biggest challenge? Being taken seriously at a young age.

People thought I was just doing this for fun. I had to prove again and again that I was serious, dedicated, and not here to play games.

There were money issues, time problems (school + work), and many days where things didn’t work out.

But I never stopped. I just kept building, learning, and trying again.

My Advice to Anyone Starting Young

When you start your own thing, don’t expect profits in the first 1–1.5 years.

You’ll spend money from your own pocket, and you may not earn anything in return for a while. But that’s okay — just keep going.

If you can survive the first 3–4 months without quitting, and if you can work hard without losing hope, then success will eventually follow you.

Dreams should always be big — because life is short.

And remember:

Your age doesn’t matter. What matters is what you can do.

What I’m Working On Now

Right now, I’m actively working on client projects for StromWebs, and at the same time, building AI tools for Siptkai.

With StromWebs, I want to help every Indian startup go online.

With Siptkai, I want to bring AI to businesses across the world.

This is just the beginning — I have a lot more to build, and a long way to go.
